Re: 1964 Plymouth "before" car

Good point. I admit that was my thought too.

I'm also reminded about a 1965 Plymouth Fury 2 door I saw in a self-serve (Pick A Part type) junkyard around 1999. The Plymouth had just been put in the available to part out row of cars. Prefect paint and trim, like new factory interior. Big Block. Once the place put the car in the yard it was immediately a "parts only" car. They would not sell it complete. I assumed that, tragically, the Plymouth's owner died and the heirs just junked "that old car" after the owner dearly departed.

Also, on the other hand, the supply of donor cars is also getting scarcer, so what people start with may resemble what we years ago would junk. Like the action of restoring this one:

Thanks,

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
