As is usually the case.  Lares TRW 2000 pump without reservoir is out of stock.

Gary on second look after enlarging the image.  The first one is the closest match.

I do not believe they would work.

The first one is similar.  But the existing  mounting bracket bolt holes to the unit are not the same.  The bolts thread into the unit through the bracket.  There is no provision for mounting bolts.

The second unit is way different.

The 1962 power steering unit is by TRW.

Thank you,

I noticed that often parts vendors have conflicting information about 62-65 Mopar parts. For example, below 1962 Dodge and 1963 Dodge big blocks have the same  power steering pumps listed, indicating 1962 was not unique in that part number.

I am posting this email for David as it got misdirected.

From: DAVID HURD

Anyone have a lead on a good power steering pump set up for a 1962
Dodge Polara 500 with big block Max Wedge?

I believe it is a unit made by TRW. Banjo style pump.

There is one on Ebay that is $289 that is the style. I can have
Straight Line Steering in San Jose CA rebuild it for less than 1/2
that price.

ebay.com

Mopar TRW Power Steering Pump Rebuild SERVICE

Also, any recommendations for a pump that will be an upgrade that will
bolt on and the pulley match up with the crank pulley?

I believe Dodge went to “A” style pumps in 1963.

Most vendors seem to go with 1963 to the 70’s.

Thanks
