But then there are the people who actually did the writing and editing of the book (most likely not the engineers themselves) your reading from. But if this is a common thing, then its not a typo.

That's all I used.  I thought it should be more, but I have learned to
trust the engineers who designed the car.  There must be reasons for that
torque spec.  You can bet Chrysler hired the best engineers back in the
day, and all the torque settings were doubtless double and triple
confirmed by the original design teams.
