I've never seen anything but the red (or orange-slightly color blind) but the only turquoise motors I've seen have been newer 318s and some big blocks. The stock big block 383 in a 64 car should be turquoise, but the poly should indeed be red.

What is the normal engine color for the Poly in my '64 Polara? Mine is Chrysler Red, I touched it up. Seems to me I have seen a torquoise color on them before but maybe earlier ones. Not that it matters 'cause if I like my color better I'm gonna paint it that color anyway. Just curious.
