I think the front disc/rear drum is fine for normal street driving (if any  
of us drive normal)  for canyon carvers and 0-100-0 stuff, the discs  are the 
way to go.  I think Ma Mopar designers wanted us going in a  straight line 
line.  I have seen many early A/B bodys at circle  tracks and none of them handled 
well.  Lotsa oversteer.   Probably the mechanic's doing.  I just hated to see 
a 65 Dodge  thrashed on a dirt track, not to mention a 69 beeper   Joe
