Idle went from bad to worse

when I started my car today it was idling like crap. I popped the dist. 
cap off to take a look,(Mopar electronic dis. kit/with orange box)
seems like the breaker plate that the magnetic pick up is mounted on is 
linda loose? It springs
back in place but should I be able to lift it up and move it from side 
to side up and down? I also noticed that
the vacuum advance arm is connected in a different spot under the 
pickup instead of the hole in the breaker
plate it normally would go, I think.? I also noticed some fuel leaking 
from under the Carter AFB throttle shafts
and accelerator pump plunger? I was going to do a tune-up but what's 
going on here? I put a vacuum gage
on the carb and noticed there's no vacuum at Idle? it comes up when I 
rev the engine but drops right back to
next to nill, wonder where the leak is? this is just to many things 
going wrong at once where do I begin.
