i think as long as you have a balanced bottom end,
these blocks are as good as any other, 
i think of the 67 block, like the cast engines, if you don't rev them
past 6000 on a regular basis, they are good as the later years. 
 
lets face it, a 440 is a 440, and even the 67 or 73 was tough
