I've thought about using a B-body rear in a a-body by slotting the
mounting holes on the leaf spring pads 1/2 inch each side and making a
quarter moon shaped insert to take up the slot .As far as the extra
width of the rear ,there are a lot of offset 4 1/2 bolt pattern wheels
out there for late model Ford products. Just a idea for a cheap setup.
Postal Money orders are only redeemable at the post office here now
due to fraud. But a year ago,I paid a Washington state man ,Terry
Ellington of Ellington Construction for a /6 Felpro gasketset from ebay.
He recieved it and never sent he gaskets. Other eBay members also had
problems at the same time with him. I filed a case with the USPS and
they swapped forms with me for a few months but they kept waiting for
Ellington to file a missing M.O. form, which of course he never
did.(bureaucracy at its worst) He had a few sales to his credit, listed
some higher ticket items to sell and dropped out of sight after takng a
few dollars. The Postal money order system is only as good as the
people who deal with your complaint.
