i thought the distance from drum to drum was wider on 66-newer b-body.

i would like to get a wider tire under my 65 b-body, without moving the
springs.

as it is i have 10" rims with 5-1/2 back spacing, then 7/16 spacer.
i am able to get 275-60 t/a's on with plenty of room to spare, but
the next size up won't fit in either direction.

are you guys, who have the later b-rears getting anything wider under there?

i have no problem fitting 28-10.5 slicks on, 275-60 drag t/a's were as wide as
the space would allow (wider than radial t/a's)
