Hello all!!

After a few month hiatus, I've rejoined the mailing list as I'm attempting 
to get my 1962 Dart 440 4-door ready for the Power Tour in June, and wonder 
if anyone from the list will be participating.

I think I'll be joining the tour in either Springfield, Illinois or 
Indianapolis, Indiana - not sure which yet.

My son lives in Nashville, TN - he's flying home to Novi, Michigan and then 
riding back to Nashville with me.

One problem I've encountered after getting the Dart out of winter storage 
has to do with the new TTI headers I installed late last year.  The steering 
linkage has rubbed almost all the way through one of the tubes on the 
passenger side header. I knew the linkage was close, but apparently didn't 
realize how close.

My local muffler shop says they can put a weld on the area and grind it 
smooth, but it will rust.  I realize that sending the header out to get 
re-coated is probably the best fix, but am wondering if there is some other 
less $$$ I can do to help reduce the chance of rusting.
