That is correct - Dodge-Chrysler-Plymouth-DeSoto.

I have a 1946 advertisement for Chrysler of Canada Chryco parts and it has
the names spelled out within the symbol.  Not sure when Chrysler adopted it,
although it is on the covers of some Chrysler parts catalogues I have from
1934.

Glad you enjoy the "lessons".  I just hope they are not long and boring.
Well, I know they are long and I know I tend to rattle off.

    Loved the history lesson! Here's a question I have  been wanting to ask
for some time......The DPcD logo on the older parts,  previous to the
Pentastar
logo, I've long thought that it was  Dodge-Chrysler-Plymouth-DeSoto. Is this
