That's a deal Tony.  We're looking at renting instead of buying anyway
since there are several indicators that the market will implode soon
(too many folks doing interest only loans in the bay area--40% last
year alone!).  The last thing we'd like to do is buy high, then have
out 15-20% equity wiped out in no time at all.  That would not be good
;-)

What city do you live in now?  Looking forward to seeing that vert too ;-)

BTW do you have an engine hoist?  I have a motor that I was going to
put in, but haven't had time and it looks like i'll be hauling it. 
Dont have one myself, but would need something to off load the project
engine back to the stand
