I bought 2x2 square tubing for my 64 Plymouth that I'm guessing has over 600
horse.
I cut the front of the rear frame out inserted the tubing and ran it under
the floor up to the front crossmember and welded both ends. Didn't have to cut
the floor at all and I only have about $45.00 in the metal.
Painted it black and it looks like it is part of the car. Works for me!
