maybe you got a wrong part,

the headers come out with one side further back than the other, (all headers)
with mine, the x-pipe has an equal center length, this means you need
one elbow to compensate for the header which is longer/shorter.

once you figure out which is which,(they are supposed to be numbered)
then you could put it on with the hump either down or up, i complained to
tti about the hump, maybe it is not there anymore?

i have never had an exhaust system that compares to the performance of the
x-pipe.

With the hump down (yes, it's still there), I think my ground clearance
would be drastically reduced. I'll look at the elbows though. They looked
identical when I laid it all out. I talked everything thru with TTI and they
weren't exactly sure why I was having problems. They did talk about some
measurements that weren't included on my instructions. They're used to mount the
hanger brackets for the mufflers. I used the measurements off the OEM one and
got it pretty close luckily enough. I imagine my problem is tolerance
stackup, a bad bend in a pipe, or just plain stupidity on my part. I also didn't
like the way the emergency brake cable rubs everywhere. One of the reasons I
bought the system was to have a functioning E-brake system that didn't rub
everywhere. I told the rep that I thought I would be happier with the H-pipe
system and they are going to square me away. So I'm pretty happy all in all
and super impressed with the customer service. If the H-pipe gives me similar
problems then I'm just going to keep my mouth shut and deal with it as the
problem obviously lies with me or my car.
