ON my 64, there are small holes with clips in them all the way across the dash from when it had a pad mounted on it. Perhaps if you wanted to do the work, patch them with fiber glass and smooth them over? I thought about doing that my self. Sorry, no pics.

I like the look of a tachometer mounted on the smooth contours of an  
unpadded dash.

I want to remove my tired dash pad ('64 Fury) and pretty up the metal  
dash. I have never seen what the dash looks like with the pad removed.  
Are there visible holes in the top and/or front of the dash from the  
dash pad mounting hardware? If someone has a picture available, I would  
appreciate seeing it.
