AN fittings use a 37 degree flare, whereas most tools make 45 degree flares. Your brake lines are 45. If you've got AN fittings on the cooler your options are:
1. Get ahold of a 37 degree flaring tool, flare the lines and use AN tube nuts and sleeves to attach them to the cooler.
If you use stainless or aluminum, you can use single flare. If you use mild steel, you need a double flare. A double flare 37 degree tool will run you 300-400 where a single flare 37 degree tool capable of handling stainless can be had for about $100.
2. Run braided flexible lines using the AN ends.
