I sprung for one of those chrome plated fluid damper copies from 440 Source.
I delt with Brandon who seems to know what he's talking about. Got it today.
It weighs about 2 lbs more than a factory damper and about 1/2" thicker so I
haven't tried the pulley line up. It's sfi approved so I hope it will be
ok. I promptly scuffed it up and painted it turquoise. Also did the same with
their aluminum water pump housing which I added a Milodon HV pump. Anyone
have a good source for stainless heater hose nipples? 440 Source also has a
used factory aluminum housing #2536767 that they say was used on the 65 S/S
race hemi. I thought it was kinda cool, being so unique and all. I guess it
would fit a RB motor They were asking 250.00. There's a photo of it on
their site. Joe

Another question - looking down the thermostat neck, into the housing, is a
1/4" or so threaded hole. My cast iron housings also have this. Is this a
bypass of some type, or should it be plugged? Again with the Joe....;-D
