You could always tap out the drain plug and find a slightly larger short bolt.

Are all Poly oil pans the same for passenger cars? Seems my 64 pan has  
a dimple or bevel
on both sides and my 62 oil pan has the beval on one side, drivers  
side? Want to use the 62
pan cause the 64 oil pan drain plug holes threads are all but a couple  
threads left.
