Thanks for all the replies! Please don't think I was trying to "stir the 
pot", I am curious because I am in the process of finishing the paint on 
my 65 coronet. Perhaps some of the plants did it and some didn't. 
Perhaps 1st and 2nd shift put black-out behind the grille and 3rd shift 
didn't... who knows. The ONE thing I am sure of is that everytime I 
think I know something for sure about these old Mopars I find out I 
really don't!!

I have found similar results with the trunk paint. Some of them (65 
coronets) have the trunk the body color and some of them have it in speckle.
