You can buy a new trunk lock kit at auto zone. They have a assortment of the
bars with them that go to the slot and everything else you need. They are
really for newer cars, but once you install it,you would have to look very
close to tell it wasn't original but the key looks newer. I have used these
on about three or four 62-65 cars and no one has noticed. They cost about
$15.00. I just tell them they are for a Chrysler and they go back and get
them. If needed, I will get one here for you.
