   As a painter we have to make sure ALL little chunks of crap are  gone
   from say a window sill before laying Oil enamel or it will look like
   poop. What i do is i make little reducers out of whatever is
   available  to duct tape to the nozzle of my vacumn to get in to tiny
   places and suck all dirt out. the added benifit is sucking that air
   thru a smaller nozzle raises the speed of the air so it really sucks.
    i plan on using this trick when i sanblast parts of the AFX   body .
    I know a car is more intricate than a window sill but it should
    help, worth a try!
   You could make LOOONNNGGG  nozzles too out of something bendable like
   copper tubing to really reach back into the dark places
