As far as I know all in 1964 426 street wdge eng were blue from the factory.
the orange was left to the max wedge and then the hemi after may 1964. then
in 65 there no longer was a max wedge only the hemi, orange, and the street
wedge which I believe they kept as blue. any one who has documentation on
the color change in 65 can chime in but all the ad's and brochures that I
have show the street wedge as blue  Dave o

so you are saying a factory orange 426 (1965)
would be at least one step above the street wedge?
