2nd that on the non-breaking. Had a 91 Dakota 3.9 4WD with 250,000 on it when I traded it in. Currently have a 95 Jeep Cherokee RHD in current use as a mail Jeep with 200,000 stop and go mail miles on it - definitely rougher on a vehicle than normal driving.

Don - I had a 5.9 Durango which was a very fast vehicle. I mean very fast.
Wife hated it, said it was too big. I also never got over 12 mpg with it.
Went to the Grand Cherokee which is very comfy but slower and 18 mpg. My
brother has the V10 3/4 ton pickup. It'll pull anything. We use it for towing
our cars and junk around and he tows construction equipment with it. Probably
too big for just towing cars around and 12 mpg. Many Cummins owners have
commented to us that they should have went with the V10 as it accellerates much
faster and Cummins is having a Primary fuel pump problem which burns up @
150k miles and is a very spendy part. Check out Chrysler's site and look at the
new Commander which is coming out with V8 power, might be the ticket. It's
based on the old square shaped Cherokee and the price should be reasonable as
it's supposed to be a "blue collar" work truck. I've owned 6 Jeeps/Mopar
since 91 and all I can say is they don't break. My daughter's 91 4cyl/5speed
has 155k miles and runs like new. My 4 cents Joe
