well I decided to rebuild my little carter BBD two barrel on my 273.
First off the intake check ball was missing from the accelerator
pump well, hmmmmm, I guess that would explain the stumble.
   But heres my real question:
Coming out of the bottom of the venturi cluster when u lift it up
and out, are two little tubes that extend down into wells.
I am not quite sure what these are called or do( please advise).
But when I lifted the cluster out one of the little tubes was just
laying there in its well, actually wasnt pushed in to the venturi
cluster unit, some how it had worked loose. Amazing the thing ran
    at all.
So how should I avoid this happening again, can I glue it in to its
hole if i am really careful. The glue would have to be fuel-proof.
Or should I just tap it in to its proper hole and hope for the
best. The hole is still snug, it doesnt wobble or anything.
