Its not necessarily the presence of eBay that is causing prices
to rise. This is fairly specific to our mopar hobby, and actually
just forward-look through 1972 stuff... really. Go look up the
ebay auctions of NOS parts for old Nash's, or 1950-54 Dodges,
or AMC stuff. I had some NOS lenses for 48-50s Chryslers & Dodges
at Carlisle and potential buyers laughed and or scoffed when
I told them I was asking $30/ea.!! (and I know I won't get more
than that on eBay because I already tried!!!) but how low does
a buyer expect me to sell that stuff? especially considering
I carted it up to Carlisle from 660 miles away?

demand is super high for mopar muscle. NOS parts are an ever
decreasing supply item, good used parts are decreasing in quanity
as well. If you want lower prices, figure out how to lower
demand, otherwise, reproduction of parts is the only way to
change supply, isn't it?

This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
