They are actual photos for the car of that year. When I requested photos
for a 1962 Dodge Lancer they sent me PR photos of 1962 Lancer 770 2-door
sedan, 4-door sedan and GT hardtop models with front, side, rear, interior
and trunk views (not of each model, though). They also sent along a photo
captioned as a 1962 Dodge Lancer dash photo, but it is actually a 1961 Dart
Phoenix with a 3-speed manual floorshift (you can see the shifter knob with
the gearshift pattern) and a large tach mounted just to the left of the
upper instrument cluster. Not a Lancer photo, but a very unusual shot to
say the least.

The pictures I got I had never seen before. What they do is send you
photocopies along with an order form. On the form you list the negative
numbers of the photos you want and send them the order form, the photocopies
of the photos you want and the money (cheque or money order). You can keep
the photocopies of the photos you don't want.

Bill,

They list prices for color and black & white photographs. Are these for
the specific car requested? If so, are they the pictures from the
dealer brochures, or some else they kept on file?

Thanks,

Sean B
