I've heard the same about Mr G's.  Nice quality, bad attitude.  You 
might try Glenn at Gcar.  He recently moved to Spokane and started his 
plating business.  He's one of the best body men I've ever seen, and did 
a great job on my '65 Coronet 'vert when it got banged.  Super attention 
to detail and awesome workmanship.  I'm going to send my stuff up to him 
to be done soon.
