Gary - another respectively cheep way to wake up a B motor is to advance  the  
cam 4 degrees.  Next time you replace a timing set, try a 3 key way  lower  
gear.  Made mine seem to be a lot snappier and rev much faster.   You can always  
set it back with a gasket set and a six pack.  There's no  problem with  
valve/piston interference, but cylinder pressures may rise  depending on what cam  
you're using, causing an upgrade in octane rating.   You will feel the  
difference.  Joe
