After pouring many of my pension checks into restoring the body on my Coronet, I am not happy with the anodized trim. I polished "until the cows came home", but was still not happy. Then I read an article on removing the anodizing with a lye solution and then polishing the aluminum. You then either re-anodize or seal the now shiny aluminum so that it doesn't oxidize. I have already purchased the "Zoopseal" kit from $ummit. When I do the job in the next week or so, I'll take photos for the site.
