Neal, I pulled the 318 pushbutton outta my 64 Polara 2 years ago and 
dropped in a 65 413 with 67 A833,Z-bar, 70 B-Body pistol grip and 
buckets. All went in nicely as these cars were available with basically 
that combo from the factory. I'd say go for it. Earlier this year I 
think there was an article in either MCG or Mopar Muscle on a guy 
converting a 62 4-door sedan to a 2-door.
