OK, so the '65 Coronet 500 finally has it's hood back on, with the Hemi-style 
fiberglass scoop.  

What's a good way to lock hood?  I bought a remote hood release kit one time, 
but it looked pretty cheap-o when arrived.  Have seen post-type/latch pin 
arrangements.

And, how about car alarms in general, it's time to get some reasonable 
security as I drive the beast increasingly often.

PS, while driving this morning on way to get hood installed, an old guy 
without all his teeth in a 50's rust-bucket pickup truck pulled up, and I "poop" 
you not, hollered "That thing got a Hemi?".  He was serious, too, not joking.
