Re: 64 Dodge 440 Max Wedge

Indeed. I just got an email from Darrell yesterday saying the 62-64 Dodge books shouldn't be too far off. I can't wait. His books are way more informative and authoratative than GG's.
I don't think I have ever seen a 440 post before though...

If when you say "Post" you mean Sedan, then according to Galen Govier's white book there were zero produced. That is the only book I have with production numbers.

Until Darrell Davis brings the 62-64 Dodge books out,I'd take anything GG says with a large grain of salt.I understand that the 62-63 Dodge book is close to going to print. The 64 Dodge book is a ways off, though.

I'll go out on a limb and predict that if any were built, they'd number under 5 total due to the short production duration before the Hemi came out,and the 440 Post trim style.

Do you know for sure it's a Maxie and just want production numbers? How about all the visual clues that are on Maxies? What's the 4th digit of the VIN? Did you buy the car represented as a Maxie,or do you think you've found a Maxie? Do you have any history on the car?Fender tag present?
