Re: smoking after a rebuild




try taking it out on a back highway somewhere, get the car at 35 mph, and accelerate wide open to 60 mph. Do this about ten times and see how it acts after you let her cool off for a while. This is something they teach us to do with new motors in class these days. Supposed to help break in the rings I guess.

  the shop say they installed moly not cast rings
