RE: Heater repair, 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury B body, non-A/C



Butch, aftermarket stereos usually have a small slit on either side you 
can see after you remove the front. It takes a special key that comes 
with the radio to remove it, but you can use a thin, flat piece of 
metal. You push them into the slot and they release a small detent which 
releases the radio from the surround, sometimes you can do each side 
individually by releasing the detent then cocking the radio to one side, 
but sometimes it takes 2 keys at the same time.
