Re: '65 B Body trans swap?

I did a similar swap on my 65 Coronet when I put in a later model 727. I used a 68/69 collapsible column. The steering shaft out of the 65 must be used in the new column. I found a bunch of different column shift linkages at the Nationals and pieced together a working set-up. Haven't the foggiest as to what the linkages came off of.

Subject: '65 B Body trans swap?

Hi all,

A gent was asking about changing a 1965 B body from a cable shift
transmission to a linkage type 727.

Could he swap in a steering column out of a '66 B body & make that
linkage type 727 work?

Or other options?

Thanks,
Gary H.
