That distinctive Mopar starter whine

One of the first things I noticed when I started working on my project car,
a 64 Sport Fury 383, was when I started it the first time expecting to hear
that distinctive Mopar starter whine. I'm sure you all know what I mean.
Well, it doesn't make that noise, so I'm wondering.... Is it really the
starter and if so, what do I replace so it has that sound?

Thanks/ Butch / Ferndale, WA
