The lower neck on the BB is at the very end of the
tank.The 318 is almost,but not quite thaqt far over.
It makes a difference when installing the lower molded
hose. It lies right on the oil filter and has constant
pressure on it. I bought a 65 Imp. rad. off ebay for
less than a 100 and the most I need to do is drill 2
new mouinting holes in the rad. support and it drops
in.
The 318 rad. can be used,but the hose prob is the
drawback. My 426 never overheated with it at all.
