Re: bushing 440 lifter bores

Contact Ray Barton Racing engines. They did a 440 stroker engine in a magazine a few years ago and explained all the procedures. I called and inquired about it and will probably have it done, but I am a ways-off from finishing my car.

Thanks
Donnie

Subject: bushing 440 lifter bores

Does anyone have any experience bushing the lifter bores on 440 blocks? Is it worth it to have it done? What are the pros and cons? Does it increase
longevity or reliability?

Thanks,
Garrett Safford
