Heater core '62 Dodge Dart Wagon

Bill,

My heater core leaked so much, I had to re-route the hoses and no longer
have it hooked up. I do, however drive my car year round, except in the winter
when there is snow or ice, rock salt and a lot of slush, or when the roads are
wet. It can be pretty cold sometimes, but I do have to run errands or go
grocery shopping some times. The only draw backs are my windows fogging
up...then I drive around with my windows open. The other drawback, It is too cold in
my car for my Mom to ride with me...so we usually have to take a cab.
One day, I hope soon, I will have it fixed. I know I can have it re-cored,
but I wonder if replacing it would be better. Any thoughts on that?

Susan
