RE: neutral safety switch (WAS: no subject)

Condolences on your mom....

There was some discussion here in the past on this. It was reported that
the new style switch does not work on a 1962 to 1965 Torqueflite.
Apparently the new switch goes too far into the case and limits movement
of the tang on the manual lever on the valve body.

The one-post switch shows up at times on ebay as a used or now item.
You can also check with Pat Blais Transmissions, listed on the vendor's
page. http://1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/restore2003.html

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
