That Body Caulking/Putty Material

Fellas:
Along the roof drip rails that run along each side over the windows, and along the joints of the rear side window "frames"
of my 64 2 door sedan, there is a smooth putty or caulking that looks kind of like window glazing putty.
Mine is dry rotted and damaged from soda blasting.
What is this stuff and where can you get the right product?
Or, what can you spot repair it with that can be primed and painted over, same as the original stuff?
Thanks for any help,
Donny, 64 Belvedere
