RE: Mixed up valves

Hey Sean,

It's so the valve guides get matched to their individual wear patterns.
Of course, all this becomes moot if the valve guides are replaced as
well.

Subject: Mixed up valves

When doing a valve job, why is it so important to put the valves back
where they came from? Seems to me that they have to be perpendicular
anyway, as they rotate. How can it matter where they go back,
especially after grinding new faces and seats?

Sean
