Hi All,

I had bought a 65 Belv II 383, 4spd some years ago.  Numbers  
appearing all correct my stomach took a jump the first time i saw the  
"hacked appearing" 4 speed hump cutout from the underside.
I was thinking it was a home grown conversion.
After a fair amount of searching i came to the realization that the  
"home grown" look was the standard procedure at the factory.
