Hi all

Stumbled across this vid on YouTube, of a black 63 Polara 500 max wedge 
at an auction.

It says it didnt sell for $125k so i guess it must be an original.

It looks identical to the one owned by the guy in NC we bought our car 
from. If there were only 5 MW Polara 500's in 63, this must be the car, 
unless there was more than 1 black car amongst the 5.

I was just curious as to whether he had sold, or was trying to sell the 
car. Anyone know the auction? Is it in/near NC?

The car was absolutely immaculate and restored to original in every 
respect, as far as i could tell, back in '04 when i saw it.

He paid $55k with spares back in July '03, by the way! Sounds like a 
bargain now!!
