Found dist problem

Rich Kinsley '64 Dodge Polara 4dr 318poly w/goodies

I pulled my dist yesterday and took it up to Dodger's place. When we 
opened it up we spotted chips in all of the reluctor slots. They had hit 
the pick-up which was angled. The vac advance plte looks maybe a little 
bent too. The pick-up doesn't appear parallel to the reluctor.

Dodger loaned me a new race mech advance dist to try out. I'm sure it 
will cure my problem. I wonder if a new reluctor and vac adv baseplate 
are available? Gee, I have two other dist's . I know one is points but 
maybe the other is electronic and I can scavenge from it perhaps.

I'm not firing up anything till I get the new alternator and volt-reg 
installed too.
