try to push them through from behind if you can, to break the rust
loose and get them started.
also hit them with some WD40. and a bit of grease will help when
you reinstall them.
once you get them moving the trim should pry off easier. you will
also need to remove the headlight buckets or trim.
then you can unbolt the grille.

No, the smaller trim pieces are on the outside of the outer
headlights.
Do you pinch these fasteners from behind and push them through the
hole or just pry harder from the front side to pull them through?

The Web hosting company had hardware failure so the 62-65 site

is there to this question.
Are these the trim pieces near the inner headlights? If so, I'm
guessing you may have to remove the upper splash shield in the
wheelwell to gain access to the fasteners.
Better to check than bend trim. :)

My main problem is not wanting to pry hard enough to bend stuff :-(
The two small trim pieces that overlap the lower ones by the
headlights are impossible ... I have no idea how they come off.
I tried checking the website technical pages but the site seems
to be
non-responsive today ...
Thanks for the tips,
Brian
