Check the 383 article in Nov & Dec 07 and Jan 08 Hot Rod before you do
anything, it probably will help.  With a stock engine and torqueflite your
going to lose low end power & some drive ability with a bigger carb.

I am wanting to replace the Edelbrock 600 on my 383 but am wondering if one 
Brand is better than the other. Am going to up the cfm to 750 in whatever 
Brand. What say you club members?
