Valve cover baffles

I got my engine back from the machine shop at long last.  Now to start 
putting the finishing touches on it.  One of my first projects is to 
solve the problem of it puking oil out of the rear valve cover breather. 
 My new Holley has a PCV port that I suppose I should use.  So I'd like 
it not to be sucking oil into the carb.  
The M/T valve cover I'm using has threaded stand offs flanking each 
opening giving me a perfect place to anchor a baffle.  So I made a 
template out of cardboard and will probably use some alum. sheet to fab 
the baffles.  I'm thinking I should make the baffles fit tight to the 
sides with @ a 1/2" gap at either end.  Could I use some RTV or 
something similar to seal along the edges where it meets the cover?  The 
main reason being so that it doesn't sag and hit the rockers.  There 
would only be about 1/4" clearance.  Otherwise I suppose I could 
probably form a bead into it to make it a little more rigid. I know some 
of you have done this mod.  What did you do?
