        What car body? According to my owners manual for my 65 Belvedere 
you could get a 426 wedge or a 426 hemi, both single 4 barrel.

64 if it had the 426 street wedge option. that's a 426 wedge not a  hemi 
and 
it was rated at 365 HP, the 426 hemi was rated at 425, was a race only 
option, not a street hemi till 66.
