Doug it's actually a nut with a filter built into it. Year One has it listed as part # FD 9004 for $25.95. Check the Year One website and search for that number and you can see what it looks like. BTW I've discovered that most things that Year one has listed with an FD # is still available from the dealer for less than their price.

How does the little motor attach to the bottom of the hard plastic windshield washer reservoir?

The motor has a threaded pipe that slips into the washer bottle with a plastic gasket around the hole in the bottom of the bottle.

Nylon or PVC nut?  Where would I get one?
